Nigerian Grammy Award winner, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has dropped his latest song ‘Kilometre’ on Thursday, April 28.
In the track, Burna Boy recounts his journey on how far he has gone despite the negative opinion by naysayers.
Talking about his journey on the track, the singer in some part of the lyrics asks a question that “When was the last time somebody did it like this? stating that, Too much ice on my bomboclat wrist, that’s why everybody hating on me like Chris.”
The song ‘Kilometre’ happens to be his first solo track of 2021 but isn’t his first track of the year because, in February, he teamed up with Becky G for ‘Rotate’ while he also featured on Justin Bieber’s new album ‘Justice’ in a track “Loved by You”.
However, during an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, Burna Boy revealed plan of dropping his next album this year at the same time he dropped his last album, according to him, “I’m trying to do that as long as I can”
The song ‘Kilometre’ is produced by Chopstick after he released his most recent studio album ‘Twice As Tall’.
