The Royal image-maker of Anioma Nation, HRM Obi Martha Dunkwu has congratulated Dr. (Mrs) Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala as the newly appointed Director-General of the World Trade Organization.
She said being the first female and African DG of the World Trade Organization, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has consistently made Anoima Nation proud insisting that it deserves overwhelming celebration.
The cultural mother of Anoima Nation, who also doubled as the Nneoha (Mother Without Borders) disclosed this in a statement she signed and made available to newsmen.
She said, being the first female and African DG of the World Trade Organization, she deserve overwhelming celebration as this is the time to rally around Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala to show the world the way to maximize growth and development in doing peaceful business.
The Omu Dunkwu who continuously feels optimistic about the education of a girl-child also called on Government and progressive communities to begin creating opportunities for girl children to showcase their innate potentials and fulfill their God-given purpose on earth.
In her words, “The future of peace is in the hands of women. Only women can bring peace to the world and help to redirect the paradigm in politics, the economy, and the rest of the world. This is because, women think holistically with everybody in mind, but men are individualistic and that is why the world had not moved on in peace with men alone.
She went further to explain the Chinese proverb which says, ‘Train a male child and you have train an individual, but train a female child and you train a nation.
According to her, Obi Prof. Chukwuaka Okonjo would be watching from the Great Beyond and smiling as his daughter had become the cynosure of all eyes in the world.
However, she commended the countries that believed in her capacity, experience, and diligence most especially America as it is shown that; the delay was never denied.
